Within the last few years I have downsized. A lot!! But there is still and probably eternally will be, a real need to simplify and cut down the amount of material goods in my life. That doesn't change the fact that I luuuuv beautiful clothes and exquisite interior design. But, my tastes have evolved, they have percolated in my mind, and finally I feel like I have reached a point where I can tell the difference between my own aesthetics and things that are beautiful, yet not quite my style.

I am Scandinavian. My tastes are simple. I am fascinated with the ultra modern simple and usually monochrome designs that are typical of northern European designers or Japanese architects.

I lived for a few years in Southern Spain, and the general style in the Mediterranean countries is much more colorful and filled with elaborate decorations. Its beautiful its in own right - you only have to think of the stunning decorations of the Alhambra Palaces or the hand painted ceramic tiles - a classic in architecture found all the way around the mediterranean.

But, they just don´t fit into my life and the simple lifestyle that I have come to appreciate.

Clean, simple and uncomplicated.

MINIMALISM.
